· * On the calendar you will notice an asterisk beside 3 dates which are school closures for students to allow teachers attended training by Oide which is the training wing of the Department of Education.

There are 3 training days in the school year 2025/26 that are compulsory for teachers to attend.

Please ensure that you have our school communication platform VS Ware downloaded as this is our preferred method of communication for

· School reports (Autumn and Summer)

· Whole school emails

· Enables parents to notify the school of any student absence

Child Protection

It is important that we have accurate and up to date mobile phone numbers and email addresses.

Please note we will not allow your son/daughter to leave school with any person(s) without Parent/ Legal Guardian consent.

School Attendance

If you are taking your child off school, you must inform the school in advance and provide a satisfactory explanation in accordance with the Education Welfare Act. Please furnish evidence of any Medical/Doctor/Dental/Other health related appointments.

Car Parking on school grounds

· Please drop /collect from the visitor’s car park clearly sign posted as you enter the school grounds.

· Do not stop or park on the double yellow lines on the road leading up to the visitors’ car park.

· Use the Entry and Exit gate and Drive Slowly in and out.

· When collecting your son/daughter please do not come into the school until 10mins before the end of the school day

Please make sure you have the Vs ware App downloaded as that is our communication platform for student exams results, and all other school information. This is the only written correspondence we send in the whole school year.

It is also important that you inform us of any change in contact details in the event of an emergency or child protection situation arising.
